Over 150 senior student athletes officially became Corner Canyon alumni today!  I want to personally thank all of the student athletes for their dedication that led to our most successful year in athletics.  This senior class had the most academic all state nominees and award winners in Corner Canyon’s short history as well.  Good luck

Nicole Critchfield Signs with BYU

Nicole Critchfield signed a letter of intent to run track at BYU this afternoon.  She is the most decorated track athlete in Corner Canyon history.  She signed today in front of family, teammates, and coaches.  Good luck to Nicole at BYU!

Corner Canyon, Your 5A All Sport Champion!

For the first time in our short history, Corner Canyon was named the 5A All Sport Award winner!  Points are awarded to teams that finish in the top 8 in state and are summed up to determine the champion.  All 20 UHSAA sanctioned sports are included.  Corner Canyon teams combined for 72 points, beating runner

Softball Ends Season in Top 6 in 5A

The softball team did something this afternoon they have never done before, advance to the state quarterfinals. Boys Soccer Season Ends With a Shoot Out Loss

The Boys Soccer season came to a bitter end after the team fell 1 goal short during penalty kicks in their quarterfinal matchup at Viewmont.  The game was sent to overtime when Stockton Anderl’s header found the back of the net during stoppage time.  This was the teams’ second time competing in the state tournament

Girls Track Wins First Ever State Title

The Track season ended on a high note on Friday afternoon with the girls track team celebrating their first ever state championship.  It was a total team effort as Corner Canyon earned points in distance races, sprints, relays, and field events.  The clinching race was the 200m where Nicole Critchfield, Paje Rasmussen, and Halle Jones

Softball and Boys Soccer Both Advance to the Second Round

The softball team picked up an opening round victory at Charger Field this afternoon, beating Skyridge 6-4.  Lexi Parker picked up the win on the mound.  She also helped out her own cause from the plate.  With the score tied at 4 in the bottom of the 6th inning, Lexi hit a solo home run
