Swimming Wraps up Region, Looks Forward to State

Charelles Take 2nd Place at Region Drill

The Charelles will be competing for a Region 7 championship and a trip to the State competition this evening at Corner Canyon.  The competition will begin at 5:00 PM in Charger Arena.  Included in the competition are teams from Alta, Brighton, Cottonwood, and Jordan. Girls Basketball Beats Alta

The Girls Basketball team got off to a fast start and never looked back against the Hawks, winning 73-37.  Kemery Martin was the leading scorer with 20 points, including 4 three pointers.  Jaeden Vaifanua was right there with 18.  The Chargers had 10 girls score in the game.  The defense was lights out as well,

Seniors Shine in Last Home Swim Meet

A great group of 16 seniors swam in their final home swim meet on Thursday afternoon.  50% of the races ended in season best times, which is a great sign leading into the Region Championships next week.  The relay teams highlighted the day.  All three girls relays won and the boys 200 free relay narrowly

Corner Canyon Wins Battle of the Shield Over Alta

The Chargers Wrestling team won the first round with Alta during Rivalry Week, knocking off the Hawks 43-31.  The teams were tied at 31 entering the final two rounds when Kade Carlson and Aaron Wilcox took over.  Both Kade and Aaron pinned their opponents giving Corner Canyon the 12 point cushion.  Corner Canyon is now

Rivalry Week Starts Wednesday with Wrestling @ CCHS

Rivalry week against the Alta Hawks starts this evening with the Battle of the Shield, the wrestling match between Alta and Corner Canyon.  The match will begin at 7:00 PM in Charger Arena.  Tomorrow afternoon, the swimming team competes against the Hawks at 3:30 PM at Dimple Dell Pool.  The Lady Chargers Basketball team plays

UIAAA Scholarship Applications Due Jan. 31

The Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (UIAAA) scholarship application is due on January 31.  The UIAAA will award 5 deserving seniors $1500 each to the school of your choice.  To get more information and to apply, please visit http://uiaaa.org/awards/student-athlete-scholarships/.  Applications must be postmarked by January 31, 2019.
