Boys Tennis Informational Meeting – February 20

There will be an informational meeting for boys interested in playing tennis this spring on February 20 at 2:30 PM on the tennis courts.  Tryouts begin Monday, February 25 at 3:00PM, weather permitting.

Wrestling Finishes State Tournament in 9th Place

The Region 7 champion Charger wrestling team closed the season with a 9th place finish in the 5A State Tournament.  Congratulations to the following individuals for placing in their weight class: 2nd Place, 220 lb – Kade Carlson (Junior) 5th Place, 132 lb. – Mattias Osthed (Sennior) 6th Place, 220 lb. – Ammon Gleason (Junior)

Boys Basketball to Play Jordan for #1 Seed Friday Night

The Boys Basketball team will look to avenge their earlier loss at the buzzer to Jordan high when the face off Friday night at 7:00 PM in Charger Arena.  The winner of Friday’s game will be the number seed from Region 7 in the State Tournament. The Chargers have already clinched a spot in the

Girls Basketball State Tournament Information

The Girls basketball team begins their quest for their first State Championship on Tuesday, Feb. 19.  The Chargers are the number 1 seed from Region 7 and will face Springville, the number 4 seed from Region 8 in the opening round.  Game time is scheduled for 5:50 PM.  A list of all other potential tournament

Carlson and Osthed in the Hunt for State Wrestling Titles

After day one at the 5A State Wrestling Championships, the Chargers sit in 8th place with 48.5 team points.  Kade Carlson and Mattias Osthed won both of their matches and will wrestle in semi-final matches this morning.  Ammon Gleason, Corbin Bush, Jensen Barnes, and Aaron Wilcox are still battling to place in the consolation bracket. 

Spring Sports Tryouts Start Feb. 25

Girls Basketball Will Honor Six Seniors Tonight

The CCHS Girls Basketball team closes the regular season tonight at home against Cottonwood.  The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM.  Tonight will be the final home game for six Chargers.  Seniors Megan Astle, Marinn Duncan, Kemery Martin, Jaeden Vaifanua, Marissa Wicherski, and Alex Wright will play their last game in Charger Arena.
